A Justice Vol.1

By SAKUMA

My name is Sakuma, aka JUSTICE, and also CEO for the men's clothing shop WAREZ.
The editor gave me all of one page, so I've thought about what to do for it. Then, I hit upon the idea to recommend the real restaurants in Koi where I live in. I went around the town (it's been soooo cold these days!) and found some good ones.
Here it is; "Good restaurants in my town".

First off, I recommend Hamada-ya. They have really good Gyoza and Ramen, but I want you to try the Fried Chicken Set menu there. It's unreal!!! I've tried fried chicken everywhere that has it on their menu, and Hamada-ya's one is definitely one of the best. Staff call their boss Master, not Taisho(the traditiond way to call the chief of a restaurant), and the chief looks like Yuji Miyake(Japanese comedian), he just caught my eye. You must go and check it out!!

Next is the Japanese Udon restaurant Ittetu. I just wonder how many years I've been going there? One of thier specialties is Komo-nanban Udon. I also recommend eating Takikomi-musubi(rice balls with cooked vegetable and chicken). They remind me of my teen-age-years!!

Finally, I didn't mentioned to anybody at Chobei-chaya about this column, but there is no doubt that it's the best Izakaya in Koi. Chobei-chaya has good Japanese sake, Shochu, fresh fish dishes, and Robata-yaki (long time ago, there used to be a fire place in the living room in Japan, and people cooked there. Robata-yaki is the name of the dishes that were prepared there by roasting them in the fire). I've been busy recently and haven't been there in a while, but I just want to drink Shochu there, and have fun with friends. Gotta check out this place!!

How was the column? If you like it, I'll continue to doing this page. See you soon!! (Sakuma)
